We had a new septic tank installed along with a new drain field. They did great work. The guys are friendly, knowledgeable and did an excellent job. We will call them for any future plumbing needs.
The bottom line is that my drain field needs to be replaced. Although these guys went above and beyond the call of duty I still have to shop prices. But I guarantee you if the prices are fairly close Triple S Plumbing will definitely get the bid.
On the Friday prior to the Labor Day weekend I called Champion Septic to have a routine preventative pumping done on my tank. He only pumped the dosing tank and did not inspect the other two tanks. About one week after that my septic tank backed up at 5:00 on a Saturday. I had to call an emergency service, and in this case it was Metro Rooter. This man came out and did some diagnostic testing, and after dropping a whole box of cigarettes into my tank, he charged me $300 and went on his way.
Very efficient but $160 to clear a drain is the industry standard but keystone plumbing charges $95.
I called Triple S for an evaluation of my system and told them the problem I was having. This was about 4:00 Thursday afternoon. I spoke with one of the co-owners, Tommy, and explained to him what I was told that the problem might be, and let him know that I was looking for a company that could use a camera to help diagnose what the real issue was. Tommy was on another job but said as soon as he was finished he would grab his camera and head my way.
Had a problem with some intermittent backing up of plumbing in house. Greg (whom was knowledgeable and professional) came out and took care of investigating this intermittent problem, which could end up being more involved if what he did doesn't fix it. Time will tell. If so, I will call Triple S again as I was very satisfied and would recommend them, and the price/charge was reasonable.
Called Monday morning at7:30 and they were here 8. Kalvin was quick and knowledgeable. Had the clog gone in minutes.
A little less than an hour later Tommy and Kalvin showed up. After a quick explanation by me and a visual on their part they got to digging. Do to the layout of my system and its' piping, it was a little more difficult than they had expected. They dug, cut and put the camera in at least four or five different locations until they were able to locate the problem. As they were doing this we discussed everything about septic systems and potential problems and it was obvious that these two gentlemen knew what they were talking about.
Even though it was late in the evening they never once complained or had a negative thing to say. These two guys are true professionals and customer service like this is almost non-existent anymore.
