Only my second visit to Johnny's and this visit was not impressive.
Best part of the time there was the family together for a meal.
I stopped there while scouting camp grounds in the area. Great Barbecue, good people, and the best melt in your mouth cornbread I've ever had. I'm definitely going back!

Atmosphere was very pleasant. The restaurant was busy. Almost fully packed. Not noisy. Plenty of servers.

Hometown place to be. I've gone to Johnny's since I was a child. Great food, service, and they occasionally have off the menu specials that are fantastic. The soup and salad bar is great.
Service was not hence loose a star. I had to get attention for refill drink, doggie box and more dip. I saved my chicken bones and fat for my dog but server removed while I was packing my box. Server cleared table while each of us were packing our boxes. Just not right.
